"Zimbabwe's Children"

ZimVana is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity

                                                Our Mission

TO EDUCATE ORPHANS IN ZIMBABWE, AFRICA
WHY WE CARE
  • In 2009 The National Aids Council reported there are 1.3 million children in Zimbabwe orphaned by AIDs and Cholera.
  • 50,000 families are headed by children under the age of 18.
  • Many children live hand-to-mouth doing menial labor or depend on older siblings that labor.
  • These children understand, the only way out of generational poverty is an education.

News and Updates

Our December 2022 fundraiser raised enough funds for tuition for the first half of 2023.  We also contributed to the Orphan Center's chicken project.  The children are raising chickens for eggs and for sale.  The eggs help provide necessary protein  for the children.  ZimVana currently has 70 students enrolled in school. They range from elementary to college.  We are hoping to reach our goal of funding tuitions for the 2023-2024 school year.
Thank you from ZimVana and all the children you support.  Special thanks to our generous recurring donors.
Regards,
Jenny Donovan

These three children have not been able to go to school for 2 years.  We just got them enrolled in school. They will get their uniforms, supplies and shoes, everything they need to get back to school. All because of your loving kindness.
