"Zimbabwe's Children"
ZimVana is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity
Our Mission
WHY WE CARE
- In 2009 The National Aids Council reported there are 1.3 million children in Zimbabwe orphaned by AIDs and Cholera.
- 50,000 families are headed by children under the age of 18.
- Many children live hand-to-mouth doing menial labor or depend on older siblings that labor.
- These children understand, the only way out of generational poverty is an education.

ZimKids Orphan Trust
In 2019 ZimVana partnered with ZimKids Orphan Trust.
All of your donations now support the ZimKids Orphan Center in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
By partnering our 2 charities, we are able to support and educate many more orphan students. Our students have access to all the facilities and staff at the orphan center. This includes, daily meals, tutoring, social services, medicine and access to medical care. At the orphan center they get vocational training and the community of other children. The center has internet and computer technology that the children have access to. They grow vegetables in a green house and raise chickens to sell and for food for the children. They prepare and cook the meals for all the children. They maintain the center, thereby learning real skills that will help them in life.
The orphan center coordinates payments of the tuition money we send with all the local schools and provides ZimVana with receipts and bios and updates on all of our students. Your donations also pay for uniforms, shoes, school supplies, etc.
ZimKids Orphan Center is built and run by the orphans who go there.
